long have you had your horse?: Loan for 12 months
and have just bought him
What
is the best thing about your horse?: His looks
& amazingly soppy personality! I sometimes can't
believe he's mine! He always tries looks after me
and lets me lay down with him in the stable when he's
snoozing.
What
is the worst thing about your horse?: ?: Arrrghh..definitley
his stubborness and frustrating habit of running backwards
out the box when loading but I am determined to win
him over.
Do
you and your horse compete? ? Yes but only local
Riding Club showing/show jumping because of our little
'loading problem' but we want to do much more next
year. When I first had him he wouldn't even trot over
poles, now he'll happily clear a 2'9"/3"
course and loves it.
Overall
thoughts about your horse: One in a million, I
couldn't wish for a nicer, more genuine horse. He's
quite novice at the moment but has got a mature head
and will be a fantastic all rounder in a year or two.
I've got my work cut out between now & then though!
