ODE TO THE COMMON WHEEL BARROW

The common wheel barrow is actually not as common as originally thought. A recent study, by an eminent expert, revealed some unusual characteristics.

For instance, it was noticed how illusive this creature is, very difficult to find at times, extremely clever at finding unusual resting places and consequently displaying some cunning ways of avoiding detection.

It is a difficult creature to trap, very evasive and is capable of leaping at least 6ft into a midden, which is its natural habitat, but its balance is poor and in most cases it usually lands upside down.

It is also an expert at camouflage, many times it has been found full of horse muck and straw and consequently, nobody wants to handle it. The expert noticed that during the study there was seldom one to be seen and yet when he was off duty they appeared all over the place.

In conclusion it was decided that it is a very poor breeder and that the species is dying out quite quickly and conservationists want to keep them all together at the side of the muck heap where they can be closely monitored.
